Wake up early and ideally order a takeaway breakfast. Pick-up and departure at 04h20, Our driver-guide will pick you from your hotel, place in Kigali or Kigali International Airport. With your packed breakfast, depart to reach the Volcanoes National Park slightly before 07h00 and proceed for registration. A park guide will be assigned for briefing and departure for the golden monkey trekking. The gorilla trekking takes place the next day.

Timing is for guidance and may slightly vary along the tour: 

• Day one 04h20: Wake up early and ideally order a takeaway breakfast. Pick-up and departure at 04h20. With your packed breakfast, depart to reach the Volcanoes National Park slightly before 07h00 and proceed for registration. A park guide will be assigned for briefing and departure for the golden monkey trekking.

• From the golden monkeys, hotel check-in and lunch at the hotel.

​

• Afternoon and evening: Enjoy Iby’iwacu cultural centre (Now called Gorilla guardians village), then back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

​

• Day two 06h00: Early breakfast, leave Musanze by 06h15 to be at RDB Kinigi Tourist information centre for registration and 07h00 Mountain gorilla trekking.

• After the gorilla trekking, enjoy a late lunch at Migano café, and head back to Kigali to arrive back in the evening.

• End of tour, debriefing and drop-off.
