Itinerary: Timing is for guidance and may slightly vary along the tour.

Day 1: Nyungwe Canopy and overnight stay on Kivu shores

Take an early breakfast to leave Kigali by 06h00 and drive for estimated 5.5 hours to Nyungwe National Park. Once there, order lunch, register for the canopy and eat lunch before heading for the canopy walk in Nyungwe National Park, approx. 1.5 hours.

Afternoon and evening: After the canopy, depart to Kibuye and drive for 3 hour approx, hotel check-in, dinner and overnight stay at Moriah Hill Resort.

Day 2: A stunning boat trip to Napoleon island, then the evening night fishing

A boat will take you for a water trip to Napoleon island, Monkey and Peace islands in Kivu lake. While in the waters of Kivu lake, you will disembark the boat at Napoleon island and have a hike of the island to appreciate its beautiful views during the hike and at the summit.

Back from the boat trip, enjoy a waterside lunch as you wait for the evening night fishing with the locals.

By 17h00, be ready at the lake shores for the three-hour long night fishing experience and come back from night fishing by 21h30 and overnight stay.

Day 3: Head back to Kigali through the Northern Province

Have your breakfast and check-out of the hotel by 09h00. Our guide will pick you up to head back to Kigali through the Northern Province, to arrive in Kigali late afternoon.​
